I pride myself in excellent hygiene practices and understand the importance of following the correct process for a thorough, sterilisation and disinfection of tools and equipment.
In line with current guidelines, to minimise the risk of infection all the equipment used goes through three steps of cleaning between every patient's appointment.
All equipment is firstly hand scrubbed to remove initial debris from previous treatment. It is then placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to ensure a thorough cleanse. Finally it is autoclaved at 134°C in individual pouches, to ensure equipment is fully sterilised for each patient.
For hygiene during your appointment, I use the current recommended Clinisept+ for skin cleaning pre and post procedure, in order to deliver high levels of cleansing and antimicrobial protection, without causing skin irritation.
